Children’s holiday activities in Nyeri
Looking for a meaningful way to keep children busy over the holiday? TESLAK’s children’s holiday language classes bring speaking practice, stories and cultural discovery into the school break for ages 4–17.
Learning during the Christmas holiday season
Plan ahead for the November and December school holidays. Our 2026 programme runs from 2 November to 18 December, Monday to Friday, at PAMKI House in Nyeri. It finishes before Christmas Day; it is a language day programme, with parents arranging daily drop-off and collection.
How to keep children busy over the holiday
Build a balanced routine around language learning, reading, play and family time. Children can practise a new greeting at home, share a word with a grandparent or talk about a story from class. Choose one language for their TESLAK booking: German, French, Spanish or Gĩkũyũ (Kikuyu).

A little reassurance for parents.
01What ages can join?
Children aged 4–17. Little Explorers is for ages 4–6; the other packages are for ages 6–17. At age six, we help you choose according to readiness.
02Can my child join as a beginner?
Yes. Tell us about any previous language learning so we can help find a suitable age and ability group.
03Which languages are available?
German, French, Spanish and Gĩkũyũ (Kikuyu). Each booking covers one selected language; groups depend on teacher availability and sufficient enrolment.
04When are the classes?
2 November–18 December 2026, Monday–Friday. Two-hour packages run 9–11 a.m.; the creative package runs 9 a.m.–1 p.m. An additional joining date is 9 November. Later entry needs confirmation.
05Are these online classes?
This is a day programme at PAMKI House in Nyeri. For a separate online learning option, please ask our team on WhatsApp 0748 744 988.
06How do fees and weekly payments work?
Check your selected package and number of weeks in the fee calculator. Pay weekly before each week begins. The calculator gives an estimate; the office confirms your booking and applicable charges.
07Can I register siblings?
Yes. Use the family calculator to choose a package for each child and submit one family request. The second child receives 10% off tuition; the third and later siblings receive 15% off each. The first child pays full tuition.
08What should my child bring?
A packed snack and drinking water. Basic learning materials are included. Parents arrange daily drop-off and collection; transport and accommodation are not provided. Confirm collection arrangements with the office before the first day.
09Will I hear about my child’s progress?
Yes. All three packages include weekly parent progress updates and a final report. The team will confirm how you receive them.
10What if we miss a class or need to cancel?
Please contact TESLAK on WhatsApp 0748 744 988. Ask the office to confirm missed-class, rescheduling and refund terms before paying.
11Can we discuss learning support?
