• Children: pictures, games, repetition, songs and family vocabulary.
• Teens: conversation, role-play, culture and visits to Kenya.
• Adults: speaking confidence, everyday interaction, identity and heritage.
• Families: communication between children, parents, grandparents and relatives.

Do you already understand Gĩkũyũ but find it hard to respond? Tell us the learner’s age, current ability, country and time zone. Choose private, small-group or family learning and share your preferred days and times.

A practical learning journey

• Greetings, pronunciation, introductions and family members.
• Home, food, numbers, daily routines and simple questions.
• Conversation with relatives, expressing needs and visits to Kenya.
• Longer conversations, stories, proverbs and cultural expression; reading and writing introduced progressively.
